This shiny, event Tapu Lele (also known as PGL Shiny Tapu Lele) was distributed via serial code as an entry gift to qualified Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon players in who completed at least three battles during the 2018 International Challenge November competition on the Pokémon Global Link (PGL) from November 30 to December 2, 2018.

Qualified players were posted on the PGL on December 18, 2018. The serial codes sent as personal notifications to eligible players could be used from the posting date until January 31, 2019.

What makes this event Tapu Lele special?
This is the very first time shiny Tapu Lele is made available to game and the only technically legal way to obtain its shiny form so far.
