This shiny, event Necrozma was distributed via a serial code to qualified Pokémon Ultra Sun, Ultra Moon, Sun and Moon players (Japan) who logged into their Pokémon Daisuki Club account to commemorate the registration of 55,555 members with the Pokémon Secret Club! Only players who pre-ordered Pokémon Sword & Shield (playable in Nintendo Switch) from a participating Japanese retail can join the Secret Club. The serial codes were made available from September 6 to November 14, 2019 and the Pokémon could be redeemed until February 3, 2020.

What makes this event Necrozma special?
This is the very first time shiny Necrozma is made available to the game and only through event distribution such as this can a shiny be obtained.
