This shiny, event Tapu Fini was distributed via a serial code to qualified Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon players who completed at least three battles during the 2019 International Challenge May on the Pokémon Global Link (PGL) from May 24-26, 2019.

Qualified players were posted on the PGL on June 11, 2019. The serial codes sent as personal notifications to eligible players could be used from the posting date until July 30, 2019.
